On January 26, 2022, we celebrated being part of a proud, ancient, multicultural nation at our Pasifika Australia Day event on the lands of the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation, Braeside Park, Braeside.
Celebrating our Pasifika culture through song and dance were:
-Afine Niue (Niue)
-BULA MEKE GROUP-Melbourne (Fiji)
-Hulanesian Fitness with Evander - Melbourne (Pasifika)
-Jojo (Rotuma, Fiji)
-Poe Hinano Dance Troupe (Cook Islands)
-The Velvet Voice aka Tuilavasi'i Tom Aiono (Samoa)
-Gippsland Sigidrigi (Fiji)
-and the heavenly voices of Lewe Tolou Vakalou Choir (Fiji)
This event was project led by the Fijian Community Association Victoria with the help of the Rarotonga Community Association of Victoria, the Cook Islands Community Services Victoria and was funded by the National Australia Day Council (NADC).
